Concept Maps, Drone Maps, & Test Grades

Concepts Maps, Drone Maps, & Test Grades

Concept Maps
Use this Concept Map Rubric to assess the linear motion concept map rubric you made.  The test was one opportunity to demonstrate your skills and understanding; this is another.  Make sure the map reflects your depth of knowledge; it will be collected and graded.

Drone Maps
We will be in the lab again tomorrow finishing your drone maps and starting part 2: coordinate locations.  If you finished your map in class today, you should be in good shape to finish part 2 in class and not have homework.

Test Grades & Reflections
I'm diligently going through the tests.  I look at one question at a time on all tests to make sure I'm consistent throughout.  Because of that, I never finish just one person's test, so the answer is no, I haven't finished yours.  :)   My goal is to get the tests back to you on Wednesday with comments & feedback, but probably not a grade yet.  All the question data gets put into excel and I analyze it with Mrs. Hallett and Mr. Aylward, the other accelerated physics teachers.  After we've looked through it and made sure there were no issues with specific questions, etc, I'll assign grades and post it on the portal.  You will be starting your test reflections with feedback, not the final grade.  Improving on what you learned, taking notes on concepts you struggled with, and correcting the problems you got wrong have nothing to do with the total number of points you received.  As we've said, your job is to focus on learning. My job is to make sure the points add up to reflect what you've learned, and I take great care in making sure it does.  When I'm done, I'll post on the blog again and explain how the points add up.  Being careful and methodical about how points are awarded may get complicated, but I'll always make sure its transparent.
